Feeling excited

I’ve been patiently reviewing agents and sending formal queries for my book. Today I just got a request for my entire book.

I’m excited because this publisher was someone I just reached last week and it is customary to expect to wait about six weeks. Often times to be disappointed.

Usually agents ask for the first 25 pages. And then maybe the first 50. It’s unusual for a response to come in within a week and it’s unusual for the response to include the entire transcript.

I know not to get too excited, but I believe the ball is finally rolling.
